Great day of racing in Richmond last Wednesday! The Woodberry Forest Mountain Bike team headed to Richmond to attack the fast four mile course. Almost everyone moved up in the standings and everyone had a great time! Thanks to Jason Hopkins and all of the Richmond crew for a great event.

VAIS Outdoor Educators Workshop @ Woodberry Forest School
Woodberry Forest School hosted educators from all over the state to its beautiful campus for a day chocked full of education, workshops and fun. The highlight for most was listening to Dr. Lester Zook's keynote address. Other activities included a fly-casting workshop, wild flower identification hike and numerous presentations on programs at independent school across Virginia.

VAHS MTB Series Race 1: Woodberry Mountain Bike Team
On Saturday the Mountain Bike Team traveled to Miller School of Albemarle to compete in the first race of the Virginia High School Mountain Bike Series. The boys had a strong performances with many of the guys racing for the first time ever. The course was a tough and twisty 4 mile loop w. 500ft of elevation gain per lap. Varsity (4 laps) JV (2 laps).
