WFS Mountain Bike Team Works With Charlottesville Community Bikes
The Woodberry Mountain Bike Team headed to Charlottesville to help this great organization out. Currently transitioning to new management, Community Bikes needed some help to get the doors back open for the public. Given their mission and proximity to downtown, many of Charlottesville's less fortunate rely on Community Bikes to help them keep their primary mode of transportation working as well, as learning how to fix and care for their bikes. The Woodberry guys hauled away scrap, organized bike parts, disassembled bikes and built bikes to help get the shop back up and running.

Woodberry Forest Ropes Course Instructor Training
After considering twenty-eight applications, the selection committee chose fourteen boys to be Ropes Course Instructors for the 2014-2015 school year. These boys took part in a two-day low ropes and facilitation course during the first two days of spring break and will be shadowing veteran instructors this spring and attending evening training on belaying and knot-tying in preparation for the Fall.
